Talking about pasta sauce... if we cook it .. we cook tons of it and then freeze it for later use. We do so ever since the invention of the Euro currency, after which our local pizza & pasta place had nothing better to do than basically increasing prices by 70-80%. So we got ourselves BIG pots, save quite some money, and after all, it just tastes 70-80% better .. sounds like a fair deal .. doesn't it? The cooking event described here has given us a supply of pasta sauce for at least half a year.
